01 — Flodesk’s new integration with Thrivecart
Finally! I can say goodbye to third-party workarounds and set up a Flodesk automation directly in Thrivecart! That means when someone buys a template from my Template Shop, it will automatically add them to a Flodesk email segment — which can then trigger a post-purchase email sequence that’s built in Flodesk.
Having this new Flodesk + Thrivecart integration is impactful for three reasons:
01 — It enables me to save time and money by cutting out the third-party tool altogether that used to link these two programs.
02 — It gives me the flexibility to distinguish between buyers who purchase the main product and those who take a bump offering — meaning I can have them added to multiple email segments if I want to.

01 — START WITH YOUR AUDIENCE: Create a new segment under Audience – Segments (This is where your new subscribers will be added).
02 — DESIGN A FORM: This is where your new subscriber signs up. Flodesk offers a variety of beautiful forms to create pop-ups, inline forms, and full landing pages depending on your needs. After creating the form, you’ll see the option to link the form with a subscriber segment in the settings. This will tell Flodesk that whoever signs up using that form should be added to that specific audience segment.
03 — CREATE A WORKFLOW: An email workflow is the sequence of emails that will be delivered when the subscriber is added to a segment. The first step in the workflow is to add a trigger. The trigger begins the workflow when a subscriber is added to a specific segment. Flodesk workflows allow you to build out emails, add time delays, and create yes/no branches based on the user behavior (A more in-depth tutorial on this process coming soon!). Polls are another new feature that I’m loving in Flodesk! Polls help me uncover deeper insights about my audience. So far I’m only using polls throughout my email campaigns as a form of market research — to better understand my audience’s challenges, needs, and solutions they are looking for. However, Flodesk polls allow for more advanced segmentation. Based on audience responses, polls can trigger additional workflows or move subscribers to a more appropriate segment. This is advanced email marketing at its finest and I look forward to exploring these advanced capabilities soon!
