Located in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex, England, this 5-Star Cattery was already delivering a top quality service. However, it was under the outdated branding of the previous owners. She wanted a look and feel that infused more personality and communicated exactly what customers could expect: top-quality cat care.

The Creative Direction for Cuckfield Cattery

The goal of Cuckfield Cattery’s rebranding was to create a peaceful, modern logo design and brand identity that captures their forward-thinking expertise and personal approach.

With worry for furry loved ones being a major pain point for her target audience, Danielle wanted to ensure the new brand clearly addressed this. A success rebrand needed to reflect a calm confidence to help their customers feel at ease.

The rebrand also needed to communicate a sense of luxury and quality, reflective of their expert care. Below is the vision board which served as a springboard to the next phase: designing the logo and brand assets.

Cuckfield Cattery Logo Design

For the Cattery logo design itself, we knew we wanted to find the right balance between approachability and luxury. The rebrand needed to feel fresh and modern as well as high-touch.

The main logo font is a modern serif that gives a nod to tradition and that high-end vibe while still feeling very contemporary. The original font we chose for the logo already had a rounded quality to it. However, we specifically tailored the capital “C” with a rounded finish for an even softer effect. This clean, rounded look helps capture the essence of the brand – the approachability and caring nature of the Cattery.
